25th Annual Silver Ball – “The Joy of the Journey…Together”

A few dear friends started our Annual Gala Dinner in 1994, initially as a retirement party for Sister Roberta Freeman!  Since then it has morphed into a $1.25M night – renamed “The Silver Ball”. Without our founders we would not be celebrating 25 years of fundraising success this year.

The 2018 Silver Ball is truly a celebration. The 25th Anniversary of Providence Healthcare’s signature event. A time to reflect on our accomplishments and milestones. A celebration of Providence’s extraordinary patients, residents, clients and families who continue to courageously overcome all odds in pursuit of a better future. Every day at Providence is a testament to their strength and resilience.

Providence Healthcare’s Silver Ball has been a long and evolutionary journey. Twenty five years ago the event was created with millions of dreams, hopes and immense enthusiasm. With the help of our valued community of donors, the Silver Ball has proudly raised over $16M since its modest beginnings twenty five years ago.

Special thanks to founders Brian and Anneliese O’Malley and Sister Roberta Freeman for their vision. And when we look around the Canadian Ballroom on Saturday, November 03, there will be many familiar faces who have been with us for almost all of the 25 years!  Just another reason to celebrate!
