It was an emotional evening filled with empowering stories of patients and their families overcoming insurmountable challenges to find their voice and strength. A few dear friends started our Annual Gala Dinner in 1994, initially as a retirement party for Sister Roberta Freeman! Since then it has morphed into a $1.25M night – renamed “The Silver Ball”. Without our founders we would not be celebrating 25 years of fundraising success this year.

You probably recognize the name “Lexus on the Park” if you have ever attended the Silver Ball or one of the other Providence Healthcare events, and for good reason. Lexus on the Park has a history of giving back to its community, and Providence Healthcare Foundation has been honored to be one of the recipients of their generous philanthropic spirit. For the past thirteen years, Lexus on the Park has donated a luxury vehicles as a raffle prize at the Silver Ball Gala with a total value of $214,000, helping us to raise essential funds for our patients and residents as they overcome catastrophic illness and build strength to get back to life.
